It’s been a while! We have been rocking
I have decided to put Cape Convoy on Facebook and use it as a way of keeping in contact with all the friends I make on the tours!

Hi everyone!

Summer is here, its mid December and it’s hot, hot, hot!
We are gearing up for a cracking season and I am happy to say that we are really busy. Today is Saturday and I am spending the day catching up with admin and cleaning the Landy’s. Tomorrow is the first day of out marathon strech of Table Mountain Robben Island tours, we have 12 in a row now and we are going to be working hard over Christams and the new year!

Just a note on Robben Island. Tickets for December are already completly sold out and now I am in the sad position of not being able to take anymore bookings this month! If any of you guys are keen on experiencing Robben Island then please note that you need to book well in advance. I tell you, there are 50-60 people queueing at anyone time just hoping to get a cancelation. I can get you tickets but you must drop me a e-mail at info@capeconvoy.com to ensure that I can reserve your place.

My friend, a guy called Mike Rideout (great name!) and I have been discussing plans on the design of my next Land Rover. I think its going to be a little different to the others but better equiped for long journeys. She should be with us by march 2009 so watch this space. Also on that point, all out Landies are female so I will need a cool name for her, if you have any ideas then drop me a line and I will chose the best one!

What a awesome week-end. Took a break from Cape Convoy and driving to attend the rocking the daisy’s festival and it was fantastic.
After a day though I was missing the Cape Convoy and now I am back in Cape Town I am excited about hitting the road again, after all the rain of the past few months it looks like its goning to be a hot hot summer. I was selling Ice Cream at RTD and met loads of boys and girls who where are earthdance so that was cool.
I was also taking a ton of bookings for the table mountain, Robben island tour with the convoy. That seems to be the most popular at the moment so I am working with some of the agents at the waterfront to push the full day Cape Point tour as that totally kicks ass and I want to share it with the world.
I am off for a well deserved snooze now and am feeling great after my hot shower and a nice cup of tea. I will attempt to pot some pics up on my blog once I have discovered how to do it
